An audiobook reading of the children’s book Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. Project from Advanced Audio Production, spring of 2024. Did you know that Margaret Wise Brown was in a queer relationship? Her lover, Blanche Oelrichs, a poet, known by the pen name Michael Strange happened to write the Broadway Play “Clair de Lune.” Seriously! You can learn more about their relationship in this article. I didn’t know until after I finished this project which features the Debussy piece! It was probably my lesbian psychic powers sensing a sapphic presence! Nothing to do with the fact that it was the only classical piece in the school’s database with the word moon in it…
These are a collection of true or false stories for game show project in Advanced Audio Production, spring 2024. This was a huge group project, in which I did a large amount of the editing. At the time it was the largest project I had worked on, and it put file and session organization top priority. I cut out only my original stories for use on this website.
My final project for my very first audio production class! This was definitely the project that helped me decide on switching my major from Communications Studies to Audio/Radio Production. I had so much fun recreating scenes from some of my favorite movies, and really understood just how creative audio production could be! From basic audio production, spring 2023.
