I’m Rand! I’m an audio engineer with a passion for community and collaboration in the arts, and a dream of working in radio. I want to help build a future for radio that prioritizes stations’ surrounding communities, as well as supporting the innovative and artistic potential of the medium.

Local broadcast radio played a huge role in my childhood. I grew up listening to Christmas stations all through the night, laughing at advice shows, playing trivia to win dinner at a local diner, and finding steals on the radio flea market.

Now I’m older and have gained more experience in audio production, during my time in college and now one year in the working world. I’ve learned to love many other elements of the field including A1 audio engineering, post production, audio for film, field recording, and audio rigging. I’m also striving to learn new skills all the time! Right now, I’m learning a lot about video recording and editing, which is mad difficult, but super cool.
